Progress~Fujimi Spoon Sports Honduh Integruh Type-Uh (Race-uh)

I finally got something done with this car that is atleast "worth" starting a thread. Like my Ferio, this car is a long term project I will be using the race interior from the Fujimi Apexi Integra Type R. I am not sure what kind of seat i will be using but im 99% sure its going to be a Recaro bucket seat from the Tamiya Porsche GT2. This is also going to be my first try at those racing harness! I dont know what to paint them with though. The body is already painted Dupli Color Pure White (couldn't find Championship White) and the hood is going to be painted black due to my cheapness to buy Carbon Fiber decal The car will be wingless because I am too lazy to paint that darn thing and i want it to look like my Integra on GT4 So yes this is a GT4 inspired project The wheels had a little modification done to them, the centercaps were completely removed with my dremel and the tires are from the Hasegawa Civic VTi/ETi Muffler will most likely be made out of aluminum since i got a crap load of those tubes Panel lines were scribed with my new sets of dentist picks Those things are soo good Well enough talk, more show

nice start, if you paint the bonnet matt black, then you can get around the "too cheap to buy CF excuse" and say it's to stop the bonnet reflecting in the driver's eyes.

Will: The clear im using is soo much against CF decal also Dupli Color Clear = decal's worst friend. I'll see if i can spray Tamiya Acrylic clear over it with no damage done to the decal. I only have little strips of SMS decal left I'll need to wait a couple of weeks to stock up on my allowance to get that decal sheet. $8 bucks! Thats like millionaire status price!

Yea man, I used the Brite Touch ($1.86) Grey primer The dupli color white is very solid so it covered up the grey pretty quick

I also had in mind some really cool thing to do with the tires. I printed out the Advan-Yokohama markings on masking paper to later cut out the letters and use the masking paper as a stencil for the tires, but that all changed when i decided to use the Hasegawa Civic Tires. I might go back to the slicks and if i do so i might cut out these markings and put them on the tires. What do you guys think Kinda hard eh


EDIT: Just found an old pic of one of my practice on an oversized 17inch wheel, see how the last two letters look wierd, its because this wheel was kind of bigger than the Spoons.

i always use duplicolor clear over my carbon fiber decals, what brand of decals do you use?

damn I was getting into my Euros now seeing your threads wants me to pull out my kits I have been piecing together to start building. I have three versions:
(1) Ultimate DC2R: Race version (cage and everything) with Spoon Lip, Mirrors, Mugen MF10s, race calipers, etc.
(2) Spoon DC2R: regular street version with a set of Fujimi Legamaster EVOs that are 17" and look so much better and to scale than the Sw388s in the kit
(3) Ultimate Mugen: everything Mugen
