Any D-series flywheel should bolt right up, since it's a D-series engine...

I just happen to have one for sale over in the classifieds section

I see no reason why it wouldn't work. Most d-series parts are interchangable... it should bolt right up.

the flywheel size is 212mm, so you'd need a 1990-1991 Civic/CRX clutch (which I also have a brand new Exedy clutch for sale too for $50 minus the throw out bearing)

They have flywheels for 1gen and 2gen ZC's how do u know which one u have? Is the 1gen SOHC and 2gen DOHC?

some d series have a recessed flywheel and some dont, i have a recessed flywheel on my 89 crx hf now w/ the d15 vtec, the d16z6 also has the same flywheel, my hf flywheel was not recessed but i believe that the clutch kits will interchange, just get the same clutch kit for the flywheel you get just to be sure, and if you have a cable trans get the throw out bearing for that instead of hydro throw out bearing

the throw out bearing thing if for clutch kits after 92 if they are prior to that they should come w/ the right throw out bearing in the kit

umm well shit, i guess i am just gonna get a 90-91 clutch and flywheel and hope for the best. How can you tell what yr the ZC is?

Mine has a stamp in betweem the exh ports that says 89. did you count the splines on your input shaft?

no but i'll do that. will you know then? i'll look at the ex ports to see what is says.

yea, 88 has 21 splines on the input shaft, while 89-00 have 20. Also, the surface size is 88-89 are 200mm discs and 90-00 is 212mm. But if you have an 89, you can get a 212mm flywheel along with a 90-00 clutch kit and it will work like a dream.
