Car wouldN'T start?

Hey, guys i was just wondering that since my water pump and timing belt is kinds fucked up, could that be the reason why my car wouldn't start? My water pump leaks, but not too bad yet. and timing belt is sort of loose and old. If yal can help, tell me. Thanks guys

If i aint mistakened.. getting coolant on ur timing belt will lead to it snapping after awhile?? better replace water pump 20min job and your timing belt.. couple mins with a friend to assist ya. good luck
