Changing wheel sizes on an 86 REGAL

I am currently using a 14" wheel(not the tire size). If I change to a 15" wheel(not the tire size) withoutchanging the gears in the transmission. How much faster will I go than the spedometer says?

Re: Changing wheel sizes on an 86 REGAL

go to tirerack.com and put in the tire size your currently using on the 14's, then put in the new wheel size, and they'll tell you what tire size to get, so that even though your wheel is bigger, the tire/wheel combo is still the same height, having no effect on the speedometer.

Re: Changing wheel sizes on an 86 REGAL

I though there was a converter on tirerack, but apparently not. I'm going to move this thread with redirect to the wheel and tire forum of AF. Post your current tire size, and the size of the wheel you're upgrading to.

if you give us your current tire size, I can give you the tire size to use with 15's
