I am planning on purchasing a new O2 Sensor for my '94 EX, I searched the forums and found oxygensensors.com being the best website to buy them. There are two brands on there, Walker and Denso, Denso bing $13 more expensive (75.99). Which one do you think I should get?
Anybody knows of other website with low prices on good O2 sensors? Thanks everyone.

Re: Oxygen Sensors
Alright thanks.
About the brands, do you think the Denso does not worth the extra $13? Edit: I just searched some stuff on O2 sensors and found out that walker are just as good as denso and bosch. I guess I will be ordering today!

Re: Oxygen Sensors
Sweet 400 posts.
Well I recieved the part today (technically yesterday cause it is night), and going to install it today. I am going to buy/rent the tools and was wondering are there any pointer in installing the sensor? Or is it a straight forward job (unscrew, screw a new one in)? And should the car be warm? Because from my understanding, warm metal expends, therefore making it easier to remove. But everything is HOT! A bit scary to work in that surrounding. Alright thaks for your time.

Re: Oxygen Sensors
unplug junction plug and use a 22mm wrench to unscrew. installation is of reversal.

Re: Oxygen Sensors
I'm assuming you installed it already; but, I would carefully loosen it up when it is hot. Then when the car cools, unscrew it and do your thing!

Re: Oxygen Sensors
Update: While unscrewing the O2 sensor I pulled A lil too hard and well, eventually when the old one came out the thread got damaged. My dad told me to screw the new one in anyways, it'll stay in there. But the thread on the new O2 also got F-up, in the end I used 2300°F 907GF Adhesive and Sealant to "glue" the O2 in, if this goes bad I'll get a wide band and because the mani will have to be changed I'll go Turbo! So it kind of worked out in the end lol.

Re: Oxygen Sensors
should of just dropped out the cat and had it rethreaded. or had a new o2 bung welded on it. would of been cheaper.

Re: Oxygen Sensors
The glue costs 16 with shipping, where can I get a new bung welded in CAST IRON + new gaskets for $16? PLease tell me the secret.
How is dropping the cat helps to get to the exhaust manifold? It is coming straight from the cylinder head, then there is another pipe screw to it and then there is the cat, maybe I misunderstood you, please explain.

Re: Oxygen Sensors
weld a new bung or get it rethreaded. i dont know how much more to explain it.
actually, let me explain it like this. drop the whole header along with the cat and take it to the exhaust shop. tell them your problem and they will take care of it in 10 mins.
