start up squeal

ok i read a thread awhile back on this but can't find it again. someone said you can grease a bearing on the starter or something to get rid of it. it only last like a sce after start up. can anyone be more spacific? also the 6-disc changer doesn't read that there are any songs on the discs, does this mean the changer is shot or is something unpluged? thanks for any help you all can give me.

i hear the sqeaking noise when i first start my car, but it goes away in less than 2 seconds

for the disc changer, if your cd's are in and nothing is playing then it most likely means that you put the cd's in the wrong way. they're supposed to be in upside down. try that and see if the music plays.

Ok, one problem down only one left to go. thanks 00blackzx3. that did the trick. didn't know since this is my first car with a disc changer in it.if anyone knows bout the starter i will be in great shape.
