Question Transmision Problems?

I Replaced the transmision 14 months ago with one from a wrecked blazer. It ran perfect and I loved it. It shifted perfect everytime and felt great.
I had to replace the motor due to a bad head gasket or head have not looked into it yet I had the motor out of a salvaged Blazer so I used it Runs Great.
Well We had just finished getting the motor in and took it for a test drive.
Got about 10 miles and all of a sudden as we were turning a corner we lost all power to the wheels.
The motor runs great but I have nothing in 1st or reverse.
I tried changing it to 4 hi and 4 lo but still nothing.
You can hear the transfer case change gears but it just feels like the transmission is not going into gear.
PLEASE help any Ideas would be great.
DID we hook something up wrong?
Is it the pump?
Any Ideas?

Re: Transmision Problems?

first of all , you replaced and engine because of a bad head or head gasket?

Re: Transmision Problems?

The coolant was mixed with the oil
So I needed to get that fixed so we took the motor we had that I bought when I replaced the transmision and put it in the head looked fine but the gasket was not as bad as I had expected so I assume it was the head gasket cuz when I took the old motor apart the #6 cylinder was full of fluid.
My problem nows lies in the transmision or something to do with the transmision.
