Re: What Cam?

i gotta support ZZPerformance, have a bud who works there and the whole operation is about an hour away from me, hometown team but.. i can assure they do good work. I always was under the impression that the VS cam was a preference for those who had a medium amount of mods including rockers and headers. I think the VS cam is what my buddy had ZZP put in his heavily modded GT and i can tell you a couple things. It definatly adds a "racing" or rough feel to the car. I dont know how to explain this, guess you see what i mean if you put a cam in. I know he had either the GT or VS cam, i want to say it was the VS, almost positive, but just in case it was the GT, i can tell you that it made a hell of a difference. For the money (considering you can install your own or know someone that can) a cam is one of the best mods besides a smaller pully as far as bang for your buck. Maybe you know, maybe you don't, but to get a cam installed by a shop or mechanic, usually runs anywhere from 400-700$ give or take depending on the shop and other factors.
