04 oil filter location

I am having trouble finding the location of the oil filter on my 04 Trailblazer. Could some one tell me where it is located and if it is easy to see?

First, V8 or I6? On the I6 it is located (looking up from under the truck) on the passengers side of the engine. Stick your hand up there, and feel around for it. I have no clue where it is on the V8 as I have the I6. Erik
