Not really a silverado question, but more of a general question. My truck has a few very small dents on the hood. Looks like light hail damage. I can't see them unless I look very close at hood level. Any suggestions on how to pop these out, or should I leave it to a pro. I saw a suction cup dent puller at NAPA, but I wasn't sure if it was too good to be true.

Re: Fixing small dents.
I have never tried it but I've heard from several people that if you heat the dent up with a hair dryer and then put an ice cube or dry ice on the dent it will pop out. careful not to heat the metal to much and cause the paint to disscolor. worth a shot since it doesn't cost anything.

I guess you could try a rubber mallet and maybe a wooden block?

Re: Fixing small dents.
Donīt use the suckion cup thing! a buddy used it for a dent he had on the door, so he used the thing and now he has what I call "two valleys and a paintless peak in the middle" the cup pulled the paint right off the sheet metal and just deformed the dent, so now it looked so freaking ugly he had to go to a shop to get it fixed, we must have laughed for three days!
