Trailblazer '02 Radio

I want to change out my 02 TB Ext LTZ 6CD RDS radio set with a used '02-03 Bose radio set with 6CD. Anyone know if I will have problems?

I just came back from my dealer service department.

Had a chance to speak to the technician who service my TB. He advised that the Bose unit is different configuration from the premium sound radio units. Bose units does not have built-in amp uses an external amp unit mounted in the rear. So glad to find this out before I bought something useless.

Re: Trailblazer '02 Radio

My experience on the Bose systems are that the stereos are actually no different than nonBose systems. The biggy is with the speakers and separate amp. Personally, if I were you, I wouldn't bother. If you are looking for a better sounding system, go aftermarket. You could ask these guys. They'll know before a dealer would.
