Automatic to Manual transformation?

I have an automatic 90' Integra ls, and I was wondering if anyone knows which would be a better idea. To save up and buy another car, one with a stick, or to get an engine swap and change ti to a stick? Any opinions?

In case you're keeping your LS engine its not worth it to do, because you can sell the car and get something better w/ 5speed.
If the car is in good condition than by all means do the swap and get the 5speed, but some of the parts you'll need dont come w/ swap, like clutch pedal and all that stuff. You could add 300-600 to the engine price to see how much its gonna cost and than decide if its worth it.
hope this helps

if you went auto-manual you'd need...
clutch pedal
clutch pedal assist spring
clutch master cylinder
clutch lines/hose
clutch pedal mounting bracket
clutch slave cylinder
brake pedal (smaller 5spd)
shift linkage unless it came with your swap.

It's gonna be a lot of work and money spent, so just sell your car and buy a manual intergra - R if you can, casue a transmission swap is a lot of money down the drain.

Its the tranny thats manual or automatic, not the motor. The motors will bolt up to a manual or auto tranny because there are no differences in motors. The difficulty level is based on what motors you want to swap it with. Since the car is rusty and "F*ed Up" as you said sell it and save for a better platform.

Now I've got a 2000 LS w/ 15,000 miles with a 4-speed auto. should I switch to 5-speed, drop new engine w/ 5-speed or save up my money and sell my car to buy a new car.
