what do u think about this?

I have a friend from work and he says his brother has a 85 iroc for sale for $600. He says it has a 350 tpi auto, blue w/t-tops, grey int. It has a wiring problem and i think he said the fuel pump is messed up. I figured that if i get it that i will take the panels and interior part i need and put mine in his.Take out his 350 put it in mine then sell it w/ no motor to my dad who has a 350 to put in it. So i will have a 350 and my dad will quit driving his van

Re: what do u think about this?

So, what are you asking us???

If it is a good deal? Sure, for that price if you can fix it it sounds like a hell of a deal as long as the Iroc doesn't have too many miles on it.

If it is a good idea to do all that stuff? ?

Re: what do u think about this?

All I have to say is IROC and low buck are usually never in the same sentence. I wouldn't neccessarily swap the motors out, but that IMO. I bought my 85Z28 for 400, and it has it's issues, but I got what I paid for.

Re: what do u think about this?

price sounds good, but too bad the 85's didn't come with 350's. So, unless that's not the original engine, you've been lied to.

Yeah they are: "That IROC is totaled, beyond repair, no motor or trans, and has been stripped to days end, and its low buck".
