how to replace o2 sensor in bank one

took my 99 grand am to autozone, it came up with a O2 low voltage sensor failure code, the guy rented me a tool and said I can replace it. It is suppose to be before the cat. converter. Anyone ever changed one of these that can tell me where it is. I bought the sensor and rented the tool, but can't find it.....Thanks

Re: how to replace o2 sensor in bank one

the o2 sensor on the 2.4l is behind the engine, its on the exhaust manifold

if you have the 3.4 its behind the engine on the exhaust manifold as well...

or....

number 6 is the 02 sensor
