If you check out the post - US celica versions 1971 to now, that should tell you what you need to know.

An Alltrac turbo would be the most desireable of the 4th generation Celica's. I believe they have 190-200 hp stock.

Re: 1989 celica types?

This si basically what i know and have read. You have ST, GT, GT-S, and all trac. All trac is the best racing choice. They're rare though, but worth it. If you are going short runs, i'm hereing a GT is better as its better in the lower RPMs. The GT-S for the Higher RPMs. Don't bother with the ST- its basically a watered down GT. Back to racing, if you can import an GT4, or the ST205 i think its called, you'll be the envy of all celica owners on this and every other site.

After this project is down, tell me about yur 300zx. I had a choice between an 88 zx and an 89 GT celica, with a price difference of about $125. I took the celica because I needed the car quickly and it had some nice mods down to it. Thanks.
