Re: performance question

if you gain anything it will be from the wieght reduction not from the decreased engine drag. focus your time and skill in another area. by the time removing the A/C is needed for a race car, you ether don't have a full interior or already removed it for clearance for other parts. enjoy your cold air.

So, strip your interior and intake silencer, keep your A/C off when you wanna go fast. And take that time to bore your TB instead
And get parts instead of takin them off,

you could find a way to mount the air filter close to the a/c when you buy an intake (what you should do for starters) for a cooler air charge which will provide a little more power, haven't seen it in a saturn yet though..........

Wouldn't you have to have the A/C running for this cooler charge?
Which when the A/C compressor is engaged, you do lose power.
Where would you mount it, behind the coils?-the condenser and evaporator coils sit like on top of eachother
I'd rather just route it into the wheel well/bumper or somethin...
I agree intake and exhaust are a must for starting performance.
