possible gains from basic n/a Mods
hello.
i was wondering, since these upgrades seem to be common, what one could expect to see in the way of some bolt-ons. Intake (any) Skunk2 intake manifold Race header exhaust pulleys iridium plugs/new wires cam tuning (done correctly) also.... I know for larger engines there is an exhaust component called and offroad x or h pipe. it eliminates the catalytic converter from the exhaust system, freeing up the flow. i am new to smaller engines and was wondering if there was anything like this, and what it is called... if there is add it to the stuff up top. sorry to be a pain, but the manufacturers seem to make claims of huge hp gains. |

http://www.modacar.com/products/Acura/Integra/MODADOP/ from the description that seems to replace the catalytic converter... |

Re: possible gains from basic n/a Mods
yes but unless your going turbo, you "smaller" engine needs a certain amount of backpressure for low end torque. so getting a compltley free flowing exhaust may not be a good idea.

Re: possible gains from basic n/a Mods
true, but i believe civics dont have a lot of torque as it is, so why sacrifice?
