Wassup, first of all I just wrote a page long great post on Camaro Z28 insurance and the site wouldn't display. Then i went back and my message was gone. Here's a summary:
I'm 16, haven't been in any accidents or ticketed. We found a 95 Z that I can get for 7 grand. My dad was gonna put me as the main driver, so ins. without collision was gonna be 3600\year. No good. I spent a day explaining to him how everyone puts their kids as partial drivers to cut rates. He agrees. This knocks it down to 2400 according to Progressive. However according to them it was gonna be 7200\year for me. So maybe it'll be 1200\year with a good insurance company? I'm a great driver and I don't need Collision, but there are psycho bitches around here doing their hair in the mirror and blasting bubblegum pop that rearend guys like none other. There are also psycho guys in ford probes that have 40-foot stop sign to stop sign races, usually elapsing several minutes. So my dad wants to get me collision. Thing is, with Progressive, and mind you their rates may be off, like I said before, I'd have to pay 3400\year for collision and regular ins. even as a partial driver. Basically, if I didn't total the car within 2 years we'd be at a monetary loss. Is there ANYONE out there who will insure me for cheaper, any nondangerous loopholes I can take? If some cellphone ho slams into my rear, how much $ of damage can I expect if I don't have collision? I hope yall respond soon--the Z is sitting on that lot just waiting for some older guy to buy it. MUSCLECARS FOR YOUNG MALES! AWAY WITH RICEY SHITBOXES!!

Hey bro,
i know how you feel. What you can do is raise your deductible get uninsured motorists coverage and liability insurance. Get the minimum of like 15,000 dollars coverage and you should be okay. What sucks though is your not covered for theft or if someone pulls a hit and run you like some b***h did to me. Give that a try and good luck. |

GTRsi, thing is, you don't have to build an SS to be a 12 second car
. Smokin Geo, Bigfrosty brings up a good point. Regardless of whatever company insures the care, the higher the deductible you pay if something happens, the less they'll charge you. It's the lesser of two evils, either you pay more before the wreck, in the way of rates. Or, you pay more if and when the wreck occurs, in the way of a deductibe. If you think you can drive without ever causing a wreck, then make your deductible higher. Just bear in mind that you'll foot more of the bill if you cause a wreck. Hope that helps.
