Door side mirrors

Does anyone know if I could just buy Power/heated/turn signal mirrors and plug them in? right now I just have power mirrors minus the signal and heating.

I thought I did not have the heated mirrors, but they are controlled by the heater. I do not have the owners manual right now, but you should look it up, maybe the heat for your mirror is not working on your TB or you just don't have heated mirrors.

I would check on the window sticker of your TB. Mine does have the heated mirrors, no turn signal, however there is no little icon on the mirror stating that they are heated. This is a feature that I demanded when I bought the truck and they assured me it was on there, showing me the window sticker with the options. Some older models (02-03) might have the icon there, however in '04 there is none, don't know about 05's.
They are controlled by your rear window defroster button.

I did alittle more research...

the 04 tb - if you have power mirrors they ARE heated.

2 standards, 2 options
LS - Standard - Non powered - non heated
LS - Optional - Powered & Heated
LT - Standard - Powered & Heated
LT - Optional - Powered, Heated & Turnsignal

Thanks, I did not remember what I did to defrost the mirrors. I like the mirrors with the turn signal as well and I hope the person who posted the orginal question can get his/fer original post answered. I sort of brought this off the topic of replacement, but wanted the the person to know that he/she may have heated mirrors and maybe replacing them would not be as important if they did have the heated mirrors.
