Passat gauge problem I REALLY NEED HELP
I'm having trouble with my 96' VW passat. I have no working gauges. The warning lights work, the backlight works, the gauges do not. The digital odometer and clock don't work at all, all the guages stay at 0 when i start the car. I have looked at, and replaced all of the fuses that are located below the dash. I was wondering if there were any i missed or if there was another problem that could be causing this dillemma? PLEASE HELP I NEED THE USE OF THIS CAR.

It sounds as if you may have a connection problem if none of the guages are working at all. Maybe try removing the guage cluster and check the connection at the back. Odd that your lights work though. Good luck!
