stailing

i have a 94 probe. and my car stails sometimes. only when i start it sometimes. it starts up then it dies. i dont know what is it. could it be a bad battery? when it stails on me i start it again then i rev it then it is fine and it runs fine. can some one help me??

Sounds like you may be about due for a fuel filter. When you go to start it though, put your key in the "on" position and wait about 2 seconds before you start it. You may not be giving your electric fuel pump long enough to push the fuel into the system.
