2003 p71 grill on 2004 p74
ive been thinking of getting a p71 grill for my 2004 crown victoria sport. i found some on ebay but it says they only fit till 2003 crown victorias. i was wondering if they would fit my panther. i would have to get this painted the same color as my crown victoria (dark torreador red) but not the honey comb part of the grill ill leave that black. what do you guys think ? heres a link: p71 grill

That grill would most likely not fit your p74 without some modding to the grill support Brackets.Personally I'm partial to the old Crome Vic Grills like I have on my '87 Vic.On a p74 I think an all Crome Billet Grill would look very sweet, and would really make your car stand out way more.Just my 2 cents.

a bunch of guys on crownvic.net were talking about it and it seems like one guy mounted it on his sport and didnt mention any thing about problems with it. are you speaking from experience when saying its different ? can any one give me a link of somewhere that can get me the p71 honeycomb grill with mounting hardware from any where else? im not sure if this includes the mounting hardware ill need.

They should be completely interchangeable.

The honeycomb grille fits in just like the stock grille. Only bolts needed are the ones from the original. Takkes about two minutes to remove the old and about the same to install the new. I do them all the time as it's easier to pull the grille to install lights than just work behind the grille. Good luck.
