96 GP Air Conditioning troubles

Hi, I replaced the compressor in my son's 96 GP last year, charged it and it worked fine after upping the amps on the fuse from 15 to 20. I wrote it off as more draw than usual on the new clutch. Now a new season is on us and no a/c. Tried the fuse, it was blown so I replaced it with another 20 amp. Worked less than 1 day, now no a/c but the fuse is fine. Anybody out there have a good wiring diagram on this system? My Haynes has a diagram up thru 95 and I'm not sure it's even near correct for 96. (It's also a one-size-fits-all GM diagram...)

Anybody else out there aver have this trouble and have any hints? I've got 2 teenage boys, both with GP's (96 GP & 94 GTP 3.4 DOHC, now that's a bear to work on) and old dad is getting an education on these "newer" cars!
