my son just got a 91 wrangler and everything was ok then for no reason everytime i go to put gas in it it spits it back out. dropped the tank down (just a little) and nothing wrong there. took off some hose under the hood to something (idea from a friend). no help. its a 6 cyl. also gets real crappy gas mileage (when i do get gas in it (at 1gal in 5min). please help!!!

crap gas mileage is normal for me, but my o2 sensor is not connected. I need some new exhaust headers, dual muffs out the back. Pull the tank off completely, pull off the hose to the body. Check hose for blockage, its probably ok. Next get a flashlight check into the tank, see anything blocking? Thats all u can do, besides all-sawing half the tank, and getting it re-certified welded back on. Or get another one from junker. Something has to be blocking it.
