let me know what you think of this!
I'm currently selling a 1986 3/4 ton Chevy Suburban Silverado 4X4. The truck has a new motor, tranny, and is built to be an awesome, tough, durable, off-road or on-road ride. Think short-block 400, Allison turbo400 tranny, Edelbrock intake, DUI ignition, dual Flowmasters, AMSOIL lubricants, the works. I've invested more than $15K into it within the last three years alone. It is currently selling on eBay with a starting bid of $3,999 here:

Re: let me know what you think of this!
So why sell it if you practically rebuilt it?

I'm selling it for a few reasons.
First, it is in Ashland, Oregon, and I am in Austin, TX. I just moved here, and was on a tight time schedule when moving. The transmission went out as I was heading out of town, so I had to leave the truck at the transmission shop and go without it. Now I am very tight on cash after the move, and we just had a baby, so you can imagine how that goes... priorities get rearrange. Second, I built the truck for living out in the middle of nowhere in the mountains of Wyoming, and then the mountains of Oregon. I now live in a city and don't need the truck. Third I have some bad memories associated with it. Nothing that affects it, just me. Even though it is an amazing truck I want to distance between some things in my life that I associate with it. I hope that helps answers your question! -fang1 (Steve) |
