thermostat replacement 99 ranger

Is there an easy way to replace the thermostat in a ford ranger 1999? Could us some help thanks.

go to autozone or where ever and buy a thermastat for 5-6 bux and a gasket for 2 bux. after engine is cooled off look for the hose that comes from top of radiator and leads to the front of the engine block where there will be a gray housing half the size of ur fist. 3 bolts most likely are holding it on. get a good ratchet set and take off that housing just replace the thermastat its right in front of u. make shure to get gasket sealant and seal that gasket put it all back together the way it was on. thats about it you might want to add alittle bit of coolant becasue you might lose a little.
