91 civic w/ crx si front end conversion question

Okay guys, question about the crx si front end conversion on a civic hatch.

I *think* that the fenders are a hybrid fender. Not quite sure. If Im correct, the top half (from the molding up) is crx, and the bottom half (from the molding down) is the hatch piece. If anyone can confirm this/lead me down the correct path, that would be awesome.

Wow, I actually have never seen this done that well. It actually looks really nice even though it's basically the same. Nice subtle change that most wouldn't notice.

That's exactly what I thought too! I was thinking to myself, "So what's the big deal? That's a stock CR...hatchback?!" I think using the CRX Si wheels was a nice touch. Erebuni has side add on trim pieces that mimic the CRX style. That would be awesome if someone did that to their hatch!

i did it on mine too. that guy cut and welded the bottom half of a hatch fender to the top half of a CRX fender, right in the spot where the side molding goes. so you dont even notice its a hybrid.

im using a sideskirt that covers that area, so i didnt even bother adding the civic piece to the bottom.
