Randmonly will not start

Starting a few weeks ago my car randonly will not start. When I turn the ignition nothing happens. No noise as if it's trying to turn over but the lights on the dash board do come on so I don't believe it has anything to do with the battery. Any suggestions?

That's what happened to mine yesterday, it was the starter. All the lights came on, but it didn't start. It has 105,000 miles on it. How many miles does yours have?

Re: Randmonly will not start

I had to replace my engine in August... so technically my cars says it has about 98,500 miles but with the newer engine it only has about 50-60,000 miles.

I had a similar problem - traced it to no fuel. I was about to have a mechanic replace the fuel pump, when, as I was talking with the NAPA guy, he mentioned that there might be a solenoid. Sure enough, replacing the $1.80 solenoid solved the problem. (How good could it be when it only costs $1.80?)

Might solve yours, might not. Good luck.
