VSS location
Hey all, I'm installing an aftermarket cruise control system and need to know the wire colors and locations for the tach signal and VSS signal. Thanks in advance...

Re: VSS location
Regarding the vehicle speed sensors:
wiring colors: left front: tan/orange (521) + tan/black (522) right front: yellow/red (514) + yellow/black (516) left rear: light green/red (518) + light green/black (519) right rear: pink/red (523) + pink/black (524) The speed ref signal is on cable: 521, 514, 519, 524 the speed sensor is sensor and a ring with teeth. Everytime a teeth is passing the sensor a electrical impulse is generated which is sended to the ABS control module. The electric impulse is in direct proportion to the rotation speed of the wheel. |

Re: VSS location
Okay, if there are 4 sensors where does the speedo get it's signal from? That is the wire I need, and the tach signal. The cruise kit needs both (and a vacuum source) to work properly.
