gear ratios 2004

This might be a lame question. I have a 2004 4cylinder, and when I get into 5th gear and into the 80's mph, it feels as though there should be another gear. Does anyont else feel this? or can anyone describe why this is happening?
thanks

Re: gear ratios 2004

I don't really know anything about transmissions. Just feels like there should be another gear.
