Gas......

Decided to try 76, 91 octan,, and i have to say i was quite impressed. Good power and for some reason it really made the timing chain inaudible. I was like wow, but down side here in southern ca, it like 2.79 per gallon, but i have to say it worth it. Shell is more of the power diliverer(<---not a real word). BUt overall i was suprised that i could not hear my timing chain.

Anyone else wanna share...lol i know pointless i found it interesting though.

I wish they sold 93 here still. They took it away from the only two pumps that had it. My brother's gsr is tuned for 93, so now he has to go get 100 octane and mix it 1:3 to get 93. 100 octane in KS= $6 per gallon.

Ha...

I think my state has the lowest gas prices. And what the prices you guys are seeing now is nothing! Barrels of Oil are supposed to DOUBLE in price. I get my gas for a measly 2.13 thats reg unleaded though the 91 and 93 are like 2.19 and 2.21 i believe

Re: Gas......

I've heard it's really not good for the engine, I mean who have thought, right? It's paint thinner.

Yeah the prices are high as hell, but sidewayz have you tried sunaco, or 7 eleven, because a lot of them sell 91 gas where i live, and my town isnt too big, but maybe its just where you live, i live like between Lakeland and Orlando

Re: Gas......

Premium in GA is under $2.00 most of the time. The highest ever was 2.29. All this is for a 93 on Chevron (Go Techron!).
