Water Leaking

I went through a car wash tonight and I noticed when the water sprays the passenger side of the car that water leaks inside. Its coming from underneath the door tweeter. I hope this aint nothing major.

Have you checked the door gasket? Or are you saying it's coming from the cover of the tweeter?

Re: Water Leaking

Jim it sounds like the gasket isn't seated right or it is just really wore out.

Take the tweeter off and look at you gasket/weather stripping

Its coming from underneath the tweeter cover. Do I have to take the whole door panel off? Is this normal for a 2000 GTP with 84,000 miles on it?

Might want to to check if there3 is water traped inside the door otherwise just check the rubber gasket around the door. chances are some gasket sealer (special glue) will probably fix your problem. And yes it happens even to brand new cars.

Take the car to a car wash. Check after it's been washed. See if it's coming under door. Maybe gasket on window. Can't see how it would be anything else but those two places
