Re: pics of my engine. (56k beware)

if it becomes a problem i will downsize them.

the motor package was $925 after tax; the engine and accessories alone were $500 and the transmission was $300 and the alternater was $50.

this is rated at 185 flywheel hp (and similar torque). However before it goes in, its being rebuilt and ported (its that rotary thang)

Re: pics of my engine. (56k beware)

Is this the turbo version of the engine that came originally in your car, or a 93 style engine?

Re: pics of my engine. (56k beware)

dampachi: i drove to the shop and picked it up myself (i'm lazy, i'd rather pay tolls and gas than shipping)

clawhammer: the 93 style engine is a twin turbo, mine is an 88 single turbo

i just put the ic on for show theres no need to actually have it connected is there?

Are you serious? You don’t know if you actually need the intercooler?

Re: pics of my engine. (56k beware)

Oh yeah, no reason to have it connected now. If you plan on keeping the engine somewhere for a while though, you should cover up any openings (like the turbo) so things can’t find their way in.
