92 lincoln continental

my lincoln just started to lose power while driving 60 mph. doesn't lose electrical power engine seems to start to die. i can feather it to make it home. i can drive for about 15 mins, then when the engine seems to choke and lose power and will not accelerate. if i turn it off and wait 20 mins and start driving again will run okay then start all over again of losing power and will not accelerate. Temperature does not go up. Any thoughts? Fuel filter, injectors, or bad gas???

I'm not a mechanic, but a wanna be! LOL. I've done some pretty extensive work on my Lincolns before so I hope I can help. First, can you give us any details what work you have done so far? We'll try to narrow it down. Checked the plugs? Non fouled? Last tune up? "Cat" coverter ok? No white or blue smoke, exhaust? How old is the fuel filter? Idle speed control valve? Wow I can go on! LOL Gotta love those lincolns. Just trying to narrow down what you hvae done on your car so far so we can take it from there.
