You been smoking crack??!! At 10 or so psi he can easily put down around 220 whp. That's a 100 whp gain dude. Not exactly what I'd call a "small" gain.

Re: Turbo

Because Tim (Speed-Factor) dyno'd his Elantra wagon at 12 psi, and was putting down about 235'ish WHP UNTUNED. Really, don't put down Tim's stuff like you did, especially if you're ignorant on how much power can easily be obtained from his kits.

max safe boost!!!

Hi guys, first time here. I have the Sharkracing stage1 turbo kit. Any idea what's the max safe boost in PSI on stock pistons/rods/rings. The only engine mod is a thicker head gasket to lower compression. If u r familliar with the kit, it comes w/ remapped ECU and bigger injectors. Conserned w/ overboost and damaging engine internal components. Thanks.

Go to www.sharkracing.com and follow the links to the 03 Tiburon turbo kit. I must worn u though, Sharkracing may not be the best choice for turboing Tiburons, I got mine from them thinking I got the best deal, most HP for the price, but it turned out that I had to add more stuff to have the job done right. The intercooler sucks totally, u won't get the one in the picture... had to custom build an intercooler, modify the fuel rail, extand the downpipe, and add a turbo air intake with filter, Botton line, the kit is NOT a complete bolt-on as claimed and when u add the cost for all the additional stuff, u end up well above $4000, let alone the installation cost if u r not doing it yourself. My ride is currently in the shop for the installation and should be done by mid next week. Can't tell u yet how it's gonna be, but I think anybody thinking about turboing their Tiburon should consider other vendors here in the US. learned my lesson and learned it the hard way. I will be posting photos and specs on Cardomain, check out my ride there: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/668851
About the 8 PSI max boost, may I ask how u got the figure, I mean do u know first hand of anybody how boosted over 8 PSI and had damage? or is it just a suggestion?
