It just died

We parked the 1989 LeSabre to check the mail. It idled low and dies. Lots of juice but won't start like fuel is getting to carb, put fuel injector treatment in and nothing. Help I am a stupid woman, what are the possibilties just so I know I am not going to get screwed around getting it fixed. Thanx

Re: It just died

I would start with the basic items such as checking ignition items for condition such as spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coil. When was the last tuneup performed? From there, the fuel system. When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? After that you could turn your attention to the fuel pump and check it's operation.
