Exclamation not starting

i am out of ideas and hope there is someone here to help me. my car was acting like the selonoid went bad i would try to start it with the key and nothing would happen, but i was able to use a screwdriver on the selonoid and got it to start for a day and then it didnt work anymore. so i went out and got a new selonoid and it still didnt start. it just clicks at the starter. any ideas? please help me!

Hmmm...you may want to check for loose babtery cables or make sure you hooked up the wires right. If it still does not start....look at replacing the starter or the neutral safty switch

thaks for your help the cables were tight but the ground wire was not making good contact with the block but all is right now and car is running great. thanks again
