WAAG Brush Guard?
Other than protection against the wild and vicious attacks of shopping carts, small children and the occasional disgruntled rabbit, and for the looks, does a WAAG Brushguard provide anything other than looks? Is it worth the $390 investment?

The WAAG guard provides nothing other than looks. You can actually increase the chance of damage to your truck by having the wings dent expensive sheet metal instead of the cheap plastic bumper parts that you are "supposedly" protecting.
Bull-bars like the ARB aren't for everyone, but I would go with a stock X before getting a WAAG guard on my truck. Here are some pictures of one of the PNWX members and the damage he incurred because of his WAAG. He now has an ARB and is quite happy. (note this is minor damage that should never have happened. I have seen much worse from brushguards). http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...?threadid=3083 |
