This is a 96 Geo 1.0 2dr-- Just replaced the struts and dr. side tie rods and the stabilizer pin--long story short the drivers side area of the frame is severely rusted through to the point that it is rusted in half- ne ideas on if this is repairable and why would it happen the passenger side is is fantastic shape and in nowhere the condition of this--

That's exactly where mine rusted and broke. The only thing you can do is cut that section out of a not rusted parts car, and weld it in. There's nowhere to weld anything in, especially it being a seam right there.

Part it out and use the money to get another project car in decent condition. Rust kills cars and unless you are a talented welder, then I steer clear of them except for parts. imho.
