99 silverado sputtering, no power

Please help! My 99 chev 2500 4x4 w/350 is sputtering terribly & has no power. This started the other night, I thought I had gotten some bad gas. I've put in STP fuel treatment & more gas yesterday. It seemed better @ 1st but then went back to do doing it.

I had a new fuel filter put on today along w/the injectors cleaned. They told me to buy some 44K from napa & put in the tank. Which I did. It's still running terrible. The engine was rebuilt 37k ago (2 yrs ago) w/nearly everything being replaced under the hood @ that time. I had a new fuel pump installed in Dec, then had an electrical problem last month. It was blowing a fuse under the hood that works the O2 sensors. After days of searching, the mechanic couldn't find the short so he rewired that portion. Also had a new radiator installed in Feb. The truck seemed to be running good until this problem.

Any ideas? Thanks for your help, I'm a woman & am really at a loss!

Tammy

Do you have the 350 or do you have the 4.8 or 5.3 motor. If you have the 4.8 or 5.3, I had the same problem. Have them look at your MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR and clean it. I had the dealership saying replace my fuel pump again after I already did it and I took the truck to another dealership and all they did was clean that sensor.

I've got the 350. Thanks! I'll have them ck the Mass Air Flow Sensor & see if it needs cleaning. If that's not it, I'm sure I'll be back asking more questions!

I think my truck is fixed!!!! There was an exposed wire from the exhaust system going into the computer. It had rubbed against some metal. So far, my truck is running great & has all it's power back! Now maybe I won't be scared to pull my horse trailer.
