12" Sub and Amp - under $300

Im looking to buy a nice musical 12" sub and a good amp for under $300. I was thinking about a Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1D and an amp that puts around 300 into each coil. If anyone else has other suggestions, that would be appreciated. Any combination of RE, Avionixx, or brands like that would also be good to know. Thanks.

I'd look into the Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection series and a 500 watt rms amplifier OR An Ascendant Audio Atlas woofer and a 300-400 rms amplifier. The Atlas will has "better" SQ...and the LI will be much louder! Your choice!

RE SE and a profile cl600m/ap600m/ca600m. Ascendant Audio Atlas and a ca600/cl600/Ap600 (not M). I think the LI may be a little more on the SPL side of things for you. Also look at used shivas and tempests from adire audio and one of the amps stated for the atlas.

i have a 12" image dynamics IDQv1 svc 4ohm subwoofer. brand spankin new and has only been taken out of its box. light scratches on the bottom plate because i put my sub on the floor sometimes.

regarded as one of the more musical subwoofers available and has been used widely in the SQ competition arena. All yours for a low price of $100 shipped. whooot!!

if i had only seen this thread earlier. just two days ago i sold two kappa perfect 12s in a sealed box with a punch 6002 amp for 400. they were the single voice coil though. exactly the same speaker other than that.
