fix and sell?
My friend (single Mom teacher), has a 2000 Saturn with 42K, 4 cyl, 5 spd. The timing chain broke and the dealer wants $900 to evaluate the damage and up to $3000 to fix. What would be your course of action with this car?

tell the dealer to shove the car up their poophole and go buy a civic for the 3k.

dump the car. saturns reliability is terrrible[IMO] and the car doesnt seem worth fixing. get a nissan altima w/ 3k and youll be much happier lol

How about not taking it to a dealer and take it to a mechanice, they'd prob fix for under 1500
