looks alone...
Well, first off let me say i love all american made sports cars. Ive owned Firebirds, Camaros, and now a Mustang. I just traded in my 1996 Z28 for a 2000 v6 Mustang. I know, but listen. I wasnt crazy about my decision to give up all that hp and performance but circumstances made it necessary. High insurance after a couple of tickets and one accident along w/ a new baby made downsizing necessary. I wanted another Camaro or a Firebird even if was a 6. But my wife insisted the Mustang was so much better looking so i gave in and bought the Mustang. Now, heres the funny thing. I drove my Z28 all over the place for 5 years and never got so much as anyone really even looking at the car. Noone ever really commented on it. I never really thought about it until now. Now im driving a v6 mustang and get nothing but compliments. Ive had more praise driving a v6 mustang in 7 months than i did w/ the Camaro after 5 years. I however must agree that the Camaro outperforms the Mustang by far. But from what ive seen, the VAST majority of people like the Mustang looks much better. Im neutral, i think their both nice looking cars. Just found it strang that the Mustang has almost a cult following. While the z28 seemed lost in the crowd.

Personally I think the camero looks the best.
Just its stance alone seems to signify its desire to fly. The mustang seems so insignificant compared to it. Sure you see thousands of cameros - but for every camero you see about 50 mustangs  Lot of blind ppl out there i guess :smoka: :smoka:

How can a Mustang, Camaro or a Firebird turn heads when they are all over the place? In order to truly turn heads, it has to be something you've really never seen and is truly unique and sexy.
Like:  I'd turn my head and drop my jaw  if I saw that...then make a happy face!

I would too - but The F50 is more my style.
Have you seen the F60? Not sure exactly how I feel about it. check it out at www.rapidcars.com though if you want.

In the words of Memphis Rains...(regarding the F50 and the 360 Modena comments in this post)
"Yes that's the one...I saw three of these parked outside the local Starbucks which tells me one thing: there are too many self indulgent weiners with too much BLOODY money!!!" W/a F40... "You would no longer be a self-indulgent weiner...you'd be a connosseur!" Case in point...you are more likely to see a 360 Modena and a F50 than a F40...considering I have seen both outside of an auto show setting...and never seen a F40 outside of an auto show setting. PS (Never mind that Memphis was pointing at a 550 Maranello in the movie)

except that i've seen 360s in at least five different parts of my city... and two in LA. no one even noticed it rolling there. just me, b/c i was an outta towner...
but 360s are pretty normal... more outrageous than a 550, but i would notice a 550 over a 360... most people would overlook a 550... it isnt hard to notice the obvious ones... it takes a good eye to spot the more subtle cars...
