Belt replacement....

Gonna replace the belt on the GP since its a little worn and cracked. Autozone carries the Gatorback but not sure if iwanna pay $32for it. Advanced auto carries a Dayco and Drive-rite belts which i have never heard of. My local parts store carries the Gates brand. Should i just stick with a Gates belt?

Go with the Goodyear Gatorback.

Buy the Gator. It's worth the little extra.

Re: Belt replacement....

Ok when i go to autozone.com to lookup the belt it shows its $32.99 (entering the zipcode of the town i live in) But if i enter the zip to the city i work in then the price jumps up to $44. Why would there be a price difference?

Sorry......just realized you were looking for a serpentine belt for a GT. I assumed (yeah, yeah, I'm an ass) you were looking for a blower belt.

In my old age, I've quit pissing away my time running here and there trying to save a buck or two on parts. Gas is almost $2.50 per gallon, and your time is not worthless, so you ending wasting as much as you've saved. I order my parts as often as possible. They get mailed to the house so they're ready and waiting when I get ready to do the repair.

Just my opinion.

Check with family members have it shipped to a cheaper zip and have them mail it to you.
