SOS need info on brake intercangeabilty

I use my 1985 GMC T-15 JIMMY 4X4 2.8 WITH AUTOMATIC to get to school and work and i work at many diffent locations and i like ot off road so this car sees 20k plus miles a year and last nigth i almost lost control during a panic stop and so i took it in today to have it checked the rear brakes do not work at all ! the drums are way past spec. same goes for rotors and brake lines in front is kinked and cracked half way into the line it is only a matter of time before it is a DEATH TRAP and it is not going to stop me from driving ( yes stupid i know ) becuse i need to drive to keep my job and pay for school and cannot afford new parts so i need someone from this fourm whom has a intercangeablty guide to tell me what years are interchangeable with the 1985 s/t 15 jimmy 4x4 these are the following parts i need the answters to so i can grab some good ones at the savage yard

1.FRONT BRAKE ROTORS

2.REAR BRAKE DRUMS

3.BRAKE HOSES (RUBBER PART NEAR ROTOR) FRONT

I need this info asap please thank you to anyone whom can help.

82-97 are all interchangeable, as are 98-current. You can make the 98 to current work fine (dual pistons) but you have to replace the steering knuckle and calipers.

ok thanks so does that mean mine are single pistons calipers? and if so does that mean if i swapped it i would get better braking perfomance? and thanks for the info it helped alot i got the hoses today now i need to find someone willing to help me bleed the darn system and replace the hose and fill it and adjest the rear drums darn i wish i knew how to do it

Yes, with dual pistons (and the larger rotor that goes with the 98+) you get much better stopping power. (I upgraded my 95 to the 98+ system and can attest to this as can others). As to bleeding, you can get self bleeder screws cheap..
