I have a 96 Jimmy, Stock 4.3L engine, with a Cold Air Intake, Intake Sensor Mod, and Flowmaster 40Series... I am looking for more power. I have been told both good and bad things about throttle body spacers and "electric superchargers"...
I would like to have more power, but i dont have much money.... no turbo or supercharger for me... Let me know if you can help, it's pretty quick, running about 220hp, but needs more ANY AND ALL INPUT IS APPRECIATED Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you'd like |

Electric supercharges are a scam, period. Throttle body spacers are useless for our engines (they do work somewhat on TBI's though). If you are looking for some more power, start with headers and a better exaust system. (Edlebrock headers, SLP Y-pipe, better flowing cat and a bigger exaust pipe system). If you want a super charger or turbo, look to www.machperformance.com, powerdyne, or whipple.

How much power did the tornado air twister give you?
Was it worth it? Thanks, Matt |
