1970 Super Bee Pro Street
this is the amt 70 super bee pro street kit. over all its not very bad. only problem i ran into was the fit on the hood and front bumper. the best part of the kit is the detail in the tire, Micky Thompson Sportsman S/S. Paint is duplicolor flip paint. it goes from blue, to red and then copper. i tried to capture all the different color changes but didnt get the blue very well.

Re: 1970 Super Bee Pro Street
thanks for the comments. this kit was not primed becasue i ran out half way thru so it was painted with krylon flat back, then 3 coats for the duplicolor flip paint, then 4 coats of plasti-kolor klear kote. this was the first time i used it and it scared me alot. the first coat made the car look frosted. over the next 3 coats the shine really came out. i did not wet-sand, compound or wax this it, it had a natural shine.

Re: 1970 Super Bee Pro Street
engine detail in this kit is horrible, so there will be no engine pics.
im not sure if this kit is re-issued, but i did pick it up at wal-mart, for $5.35. not a bad kit... a great kit actually if u compare it to other AMT drag kits, like there Nova.

Re: 1970 Super Bee Pro Street
What do you mean the engine detail in the kit is terrible? I have the same kit and I think the motor is great. It came with different intakes and carbs. Different heads - one set shows the overhead cams. 2 sets of valve covers. The car looks very good. I like the color. The only thing I would suggest is paint the grill flat black. I think it looks too plain otherwise.
