need to know the towing capacity of a 97 expo, with the 5.4l triton, will be buying a trailer for camping. and would i need to add an aftermarket tranny cooler as well?

Need to know axle ratio and 2WD or 4WD.
If you have owners manual, informaton is in it. Manual shows from 6700 pounds to 8000 pounds

If your wheel size is 16 inches and the rear end ratio is 3:31 6400 lb
If your wheel size is 16 inches and the rear end ratio is 3:73 7900 lb If your wheel size is 17 inches and the rear end ratio is 3:73 7400 lb These are the recommended weights per Ford manual. Of course, you can probably fudge on the weights.
