87 Power Seat Switch Question

Hi,

I’m planning on installing a new under-seat mechanism to my 1987 Eighty Eight to replace a broken seat motor. The seat I’ve bought as a replacement is not the same color as my interior so I’m going to have to switch the mechanism from the replacement seat to my own seat.

So, I’m wondering now about the switches on the side of the seat, how do I go about connecting the switch that’s on my current seat to the mechanism that I will be installing? Are the switches directly wired to the little motors or do they just plug in?

Any help is welcomed,Thanks

Re: 87 Power Seat Switch Question

I believe all the components under the seat have plug in connections.
