Lancia Stratos streetcar

About 2 years ago I built a Revell Stratos Monte Carlo edition and wanted to do a regular streetcar edition. So got the same kit and built this.

I didn't want the look of the consumer Stratus but wanted to keep the wide wheel arches on the rear. I decide to also paint other bodyparts for a sleaker look, the rearwing, louvres and rollbar are all black on the regular Stratos.

Many rims were tried but most were to modern to match the car, other were to bland and all of the were to narrow for the rear, so I gave the rims from the kit polished lips with BMF and painted the centers glossblack. Body color is Tamiya Mica Blue.

Great build! Two cool Stratosses.
I like this street edition with its large wheel arches.

(Currently working on a Fujimi Enthusiast Stratos, but it won't be finished for a long time.)

Great build! Ugly car:-/ Is it me, or is your street version wider then the rally one? Or is it just a diff kit mnfr.? Keep up the great work!

I guess it's the pcis, or maybe the white color on the rally car.
Strips make you look thin.

It's the exact sames Revell kit, just used some different mirrors and exhausts from the same kit, it comes with 3 sets of exhaust, 2 sets of mirrors and 2 sets of headrests for the seats.
